Cinematic Director

OWLCAT GAMES was founded in 2016. The studio employs experienced developers who worked on projects such as Pathfinder: Kingmaker , Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous , Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader , and is currently working on titles Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy and The Expanse: Osiris Reborn .
TASKS :

· Engaging in the full cutscenes preproduction and production cycle, from working with narrative designers and level designers to the delivery of final quality work

· Organizing and coordinating work within the team of artists (Animators, VFXers, Lighting Artists)

· Lead, supervise, and develop an existing team of Cinematic Directors and Cinematic Artists

· Overseeing and optimizing production pipeline of Cut-Scenes, Dialogs and Mise-en-scènes

· Managing and driving tools development and implementation for the Cinematic department

REQUIREMENTS:

· Having a good understanding of Unity Engine

· Knowing the principles of filmmaking and composition

· Deep understanding of the production pipelines

· Extensive gaming experience to operate with reference examples

· At least three years of experience in a lead/senior position in the gaming industry

· Skills in scene direction

· Russian language skills at B2 level are necessary due to the team’s Russian-language production pipeline and internal communication.
