The Art Of Crime is hiring a full-time 2D Animator.
We're building a faceless YouTube Shorts channel about history's smartest criminals—escapes, cons, heists, forgeries, and prison-yard schemes. The focus isn't violence—it's cleverness.
About the Project.
We turn real criminal cases into 30–35 second animated Shorts, each built around one clever twist and visual reveal.
Goal: 1,000,000 subscribers in Year One.

Our animation style should closely match the quality, pacing, camera movement, transitions, and storytelling of:

What You'll Do
Animate 15–30 Shorts per month
Work from ready-made scripts and voiceovers
Match the visual quality and pacing of the reference style
Create expressive cutout-style character animation
Deliver clean storytelling, smooth transitions, and strong reveal moments
Maintain consistent quality across every video
Collaborate with the team and meet deadlines
What We're Looking For
Strong 2D animation skills
Proficient in 2D animation softwares.
Experience with cutout animation, character rigs, keyframes, and lip-sync
Excellent timing, cinematic composition, and storytelling
Ability to accurately replicate the reference animation style
Portfolio demonstrating polished, high-retention animation
Organized, reliable, and comfortable using AI-assisted workflows
